Sawyer Rickman, the founder of London House, is a second-generation home builder, a veteran, and was born and raised in Alaska. His journey in the trades began at the age of ten when his family built their own home, igniting his passion for architecture and design. After earning a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Alaska Anchorage, Sawyer began working for the state's most prestigious custom home builder. There, he apprenticed under master craftsmen, learning the art of fine finish carpentry, metal fabrication, and the design qualities essential for crafting masterful homes. He concluded his tenure as a Project Manager and relocated his family to Southern Idaho to start the next chapter as a Builder. Since its inception in 2023, John Cotner—Sawyer's uncle and an award-winning leader in the building industry—has continued to support and collaborate with London House, ensuring the success of this second-generation building company.

Sawyer is driven by a passion to continuously refine his craft of building beautiful and meaningful spaces; accomplishing his clients vision for their home, and providing a special place for them to live out the life they desire.

Sawyer is married to his amazing wife Emily, and they have two children, Anna and Ehren, and a dog named Kenai. For them, their relationships with family and friends are paramount. When not cherishing time with loved ones, they can be found cycling along the Green Belt or back in Alaska fishing for salmon on the Kenai River.
